It's the Arc de Triomphe! The Arc is another amazing monument in Paris you must visit. And yes, it looks better in real life just like the Eiffel Tower. I think it's because pictures and videos usually don't pick up all the elaborate details. The real thing always wows you.
Climbing up wasn't as painful as I thought. You have to try. It's probably an easier climb than Notre-Damn and all other monuments as the structure is not that tall. When you are up there, you can see the panorama view of Paris. It is worth it and a great photo opportunity, indeed.
